Dinner at Chilis

Hola Everyone! Happy Friday!

I had dinner with my old supervisor Margarita at Chilis last night. I hadn't seen her in a long time and I was so happy to see her and catch up.  She was telling me all about her love life and how wonderful it's been. I'm truly happy for her and a bit jealous (in a good way of course) can't help but want something like it for yourself :) (unless you're married and have it all that is).

This was the outfit I wore for the evening.

I kept makeup simple and neutral for the most part and a I'm wearing my new favorite lip balm on my lips and a watch I purchased at NY&Co. I got so many wonderful compliments from Margarita! She said she LOVED the watch and how beautiful light sparkles right off it. She was in awe when she learned I only got it for 11 bucks!

I feel like getting dolled up, wearing a dress and hitting the club tonight but don't know what I'll do! We'll have to wait and see. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Thigh High Boots

So this post is long overdue, but being on vacation, the Holidays, family get togethers and not having to work is a cause for a whole lot of procrastination. I did a little shopping last week and picked up a few things for the family and some things for myself.  I decided to wear my thigh high boots today because a few of my viewers wanted to see them on and with an outfit. I purchased these boots at JCP on Black Friday for 30 bucks. Original price $130.  I wore a black top from by Z. Cavaricci from Torrid I purchased last year. I love the top because I can use year round. 

I cinched the waist with a Belt by Steve Madden and threw a cardigan over.  I added a black sequined hat to avoid frizz since I straightened my hair.

I wore simple accessories. A cute heart necklace my mom gifted me from Avon and star studded earrings.

Today was a very rainy and cold muggy day. I personally loved it. I spent most of my day indoors, watching Season 2 of The Office on Netflix from my laptop as I tried cleaning up a few things in my room. I think I only cleaned up and organized for about five minutes between each episode!

Not very productive.

I hadn't seen The Office until one of my good friends Angel, whom I hadn't talked to in YEARS got a hold of me and said he thought it was hilarious. I had to check it out and couldn't agree more. I'm constantly laughing at the show and even got a little crush on Jim :)

Anyway, I went out a few hours and did a little shopping and I wore this today. It's pretty simple yet edgy. I didn't bother wearing makeup or getting all "pretty".  Luckily makeup isn't something I have to have on before I leave my house.  My weekend has been very relaxing and I'll go to work tomorrow and be off for the next two weeks. I'm hoping I only work 4 hours and get off early since we're only going to do inventory. Either way, I'm looking forward to the next two weeks off :)

Plus Size Pinup Inspired Outfit

One of my favorite outfits. I love the sexy and conservative look this outfit offers. Very versatile, sexy, and edgy. I used two pieces. A red polka dot top corset front closure from Torrid with lace trimmings and a high waisted pencil skirt I picked up at my local mall.  This outfit can be transformed in so many ways just by switching up the top.

Movie Night - Unstoppable

Friday, November 19th, Liz and I went to the movies to watch Unstoppable feat. Denzel Washington and some other hottie I can't remember the name of. Great movie, lot's of suspense and drama. This is the outfit I wore.

The leggins are very thin, therefore I had to wear some black shorts underneath, almost like a spanx. They offer my legs more support and prevent cellulite and my thunder thighs from coming through the thin leggings. The purple top I wore is actually a dress I picked up at JCP on Clearance a few months ago. I simply shurgged it up a bit and used it as a top. Dont know if I'd use it any other way as it would be too skimpy and my behind would probably be hanging out for the world to see. Completed the outfit with a scarf and hat as it was a rainy cool night and this helped keep me nice and warm.

On A Sunday Afternoon



On my way to Grace' House

 This location is one of my favorite areas to drive through on my way North. I love the feeling of passing this area, it's so calming and beautiful. I was on my way to pick up Grace from YT. We decided to hit up Ross and do a little shopping.

This is what I wore for the night. As you may or may not know, I am a die hard Laker fan and today my team was playing the Golden State Warriors which we seriously beat with an ass kicking score of 115 to 89, giving us our 12th win of the season! I was excited and had to sport my team and show my support.

Here are a few items I found at Ross that were a size too damn small and therefore didn't make it into my haul this time around, but I decided to take pictures and share with you all anyway. Had they fit me, they would have defintely made it into my cart and into my closet. Unfortunately, however they were a size too small and therefore no point spending money on something I wont be able to wear and the hell if I'll try and lose weight just to fit into them. I could always find something similar if not better, elsewhere.





Black Leather Jacket by Guess

I've really been into leather lately and am still on the hunt for two more leather jackets. This one,I loved! I want a leather jacket that will be snug and comfortable not too tight and no room to flex. Unfortunately, Large was the last size in it :( 


Turquoise Sweater Coat

   This turquoise sweater coat was really nice as well. I know it looks kinda frumpy in this picture but I didn't bother removing my purple cardigan when I threw this one over but in person it looked a lot cuter and with the right outfit, this sweater can really liven up an outfit and keep you nice and warm.

Must Have: Black and White Button Up Coat

This black and white coat may have passed me up now, but I will be on the hunt for one just like it soon. This is a perfect coat for the upcoming and fast approaching winter time. I plan on finding something like this soon! It's defintely a must have in my closet.



Grace and I



And here's a picture of Grace and I trying on the same coat! We had an amazing time. After shopping we had dinner and did a video together. She also gave me a goodie bag as an early x-mas present and some hand me down tops which I loved! I will post them here later and also update this post this evening with pictures of the items I hauled away last night and possibly even a Haul video for you to see.
